Default Wounding Striker

OgCikys8IdBwc/xL2dcP6BAA

scythe mastery 12+1+1
mysticism 12+1

pious assault
wounding strike
radiant scythe
hear of holy flame
balthazar's rage
zealous renewal
aura of holy might
optional

Spam aoe damage, deep wound, burning and bleeding. A bit clunky to use, but keep ZR at the bottom of the flash enchantment stack, strip HoHF and BR before you strip ZR, use a zealous scythe. Thoughts?

I thought about this as well, the only thing I dislike about wounding strike is aura slicer does basically the same thing so it seems like a waste elite

Isn't pious a bit overkill? You'd think 1 3s strip is enough. I know the theory is strike only when you need the conditions, but its still a spammable 17 damage that procs AoHM for 25, just sitting there unused on your bar. There should be a way to at least equal pious' damage if you combine a non-stripping skill with wounding strike spam.

you can only effective strip 2 enchantments with with WS or PS.

OgCikysMBAIdZB6cNehdN6BAAA

optional
pious assault
aura slicer
reap impurities
heart of holy flame
balthazar's rage
aura of holy might
optional

modified the build, it sort of does what it did originally, but with no elite and 2 open slots. Is WS really that bad?
...reap impurities strips cracked armor instead of bleed that's not good.

This is as OP as WS can get imho...

OgCjkyrJbSAY/XQXDYZiiX6XCAA

i can tank and i make the grenths dervs look like kids in pvp...you can spam heals and the self heal is ridiculous especially when you have a monk in RA.

W-strike, crippling sweep, victorious sweep, chilling victory, shield of force, vital boon and pious light sig plus res for pvp...try it and love it. It is balanced and having heals to share is always nice when your monk is under pressure. No need to stack AoE on a derv, the scythe does that for you...get 5 good dervs and go top 100 in gvg running a modified version of this and laugh about it.

I do smell a nerf coming so enjoy this while you can...

Alright a serious attempt at a PvE build.

Wounding Strike
Twin Moon Sweep
Staggering Force / Rending Aura
Dust Cloak / Whirling Charge
Zealous Renewal
Heart of Fury
AoHM
Optional

12 scythe 14 myst w/ vampiric, 6 wind/earth

Learning to cycle this is a little awkward but the results are decent. The three enchants let you spam wounding on recharge and usually twin moon as well. The MoD DPS is just a bit lower than pious renewal, but you get deep wound/cracked armor on demand (I.E. start of each mob), which raises damage, and an option for partial blinding or IMS. A decent compromise between damage and conditions.
